About

Matt Shipp, Founder & Operations Architect.

Matt founded ETZ Logic to do one thing well: build back-office systems that direct sales companies and their fields can trust.

For most of the past decade, Matt worked inside a global direct sales company, progressing through customer service, compliance, training, genealogy, and global commission operations. His work included weekly commission closes, placement and genealogy corrections, compliance questions, training, reporting, and answering the field’s most difficult questions about their pay.

Matt understands commission systems from multiple sides. He has worked with legal and compliance teams on the requirements and controls behind compensation plans, managed the operational work required to calculate and audit commissions accurately, and partnered with sales leadership to explain complex plan mechanics in language the field can understand and act on.

In 2026 he designed, directed, validated, and delivered the complete back-office system for a fast-growing direct sales company built on PILLARS, covering member tools, leadership dashboards, executive views, customer-service integration, order messaging, and weekly commission audits.

Matt builds under direct control. Requirements, business rules, access, testing, approvals, and release decisions remain under his direction from start to finish, and critical outputs are validated against the source system before release. He owns what ships.

The name ETZ carries a family meaning and a tree: roots, branches, growth, and legacy.
